On this map you'll see the major beekeeping areas of New Zealand, and the types
of beekeeping that predominate. People keep bees throughout New Zealand, from
Northland down to Stewart Island. For the commercial industry, however, there
are areas that either produce more (or different) honey, or allow for commercial
queen production.
